Grell is predisposed to resorting to violence in order to eliminate whoever annoys or hinders them, and has had numerous clashes with Sebastian in one instance, upon encountering Sebastian on Campania, Grell immediately expresses their intention to have a "death match" with him and proceeds to attack him. They are a ruthless, bloodthirsty individual who is even willing to kill their own comrades once they lose interest in them. Grell is over-the-top, flamboyant, and outspoken-they once told Sebastian Michaelis their wish to do some "vigorous exercise" with him, despite the latter's repulsion. They possess a strong predilection for the color red, and believe that substances which reflect that color, such as blood, can be used to achieve beauty. When posing as Angelina Dalles's butler, Grell has their brown hair tied with a red ribbon, and they would mostly dress in plain, black clothes. Grell has specially modified their Death Scythe to operate like a chainsaw because they think that the average Death Scythe is old-fashioned they claim that their customized Death Scythe is of first-rate quality. Therefore, they are described as "covered in red." After they took it, they now wear it slung off their shoulders, and the sleeves are up to their elbows. Grell also sports a red coat they confiscated from Angelina Dalles after fatally wounding her. Their typical attire consists of a vest, gloves, a red and white striped bow tied around their neck, and red and black 11 cm high-heeled ankle boots. Grell has long, dark-red hair, shark-like teeth, and red-framed glasses which are accessorized with a chain with skulls. First off, it helps to prevent from having to write them down anywhere. Most people these days are using some type of password manager. Some of these apps are also available for PC (Windows). Rosetta 2: Not optimized yet for Apple Silicon, but still runs via Rosetta 2. For those of you who don’t know, Apple takes a cut of the sale (30%) from developers when you use the App Store. However it is typically cheaper in my experience to fly in and out of Chicago. In Chicago there are fewer options, especially if you don’t have a car and everything is far away. You live in the Midwest now so are familiar w this but in Boston it is super easy to do weekend trips to NYC/the beach/mountains/hiking and it is much more accessible, even without a car. I doubled the amount I pay for a room in a two bedroom apartment.Ĭhicago is so far away from everything else. The Esplanade/Charles/Bay are nice but nothing beats Lake Michigan and the lakeshore in general.īoston is so expensive. Things close sooo early here and if you want a late night bite to eat you are usually out of luck. I lived in an area that got pretty bad during the pandemic in terms of safety and it is something you do always have to think about in Chicago, and less so in Boston (though you do still need street smarts lol)Ĭhicago absolutely has a better food and nightlife scene. However, I never took transit super late at night in Chicago because of safety concerns so it’s nice to feel safer walking around at night. I love both cities and their vibes feel pretty similar, just on a smaller scale in Boston.īoston is so much more walkable because it isn’t as spread out, but transit is SO much worse here than in Chicago (and it closes early), so walking is more necessary. I ended up in Boston mostly to do something new, but there are a few things that helped me make the choice and a few things I miss about Chicago. For context, I was born in Chicago, grew up on the East Coast, and ended up back in Chicago for school. I had to make the same decision last year (and also in econ consulting funnily enough). Welcome to r/Boston, a reddit focused on the city of Boston, MA and the Greater Boston Area. The two Micro SD cards we tested offered near-identical times, a little faster than the cartridge but slower than internal storage, sometimes by an appreciable margin. In every test, we got the same hierarchy of results: reading from the game cartridge was the slowest method, while the internal storage was the fastest. We compared Breath of the Wild loading times from two SD cards with different read time specs against internal storage and a physical cart. We tested both starting up the game and fast-travelling between areas, and the results were surprising - you'd think that Nintendo's own cartridges would offer the best loading times, but that's not the case. To get an accurate idea of which storage method is the fastest in different situations, we took frame-perfect load time recordings from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Therefore, our recommendation is that you get the largest Micro SD card you can afford, though our recommendations also include best value offerings based on GDP or USD per gigabyte calculations.Īs well as testing different Micro SD cards, we also examined two other options for playing Switch games: using internal storage and reading directly from the game cartridge. The most important point here is that the more space you have, the more games you can install to the card and the less time you have to spend deleting or re-downloading games. Right now we haven't got anything close to a 2TB card outside of a secret lab, but massive 512GB cards are becoming relatively affordable and even 1TB cards are starting to make sense. The Switch supported Micro SD cards up to 32GB at launch, but a software update soon thereafter pushed this limit all the way to 2TB. As of 2023, 256GB and 512GB cards are the best options in terms of cost per gigabyte, while 1TB cards now cost the same per gigabyte as 128GB cards - a stunning turnaround.ġTB Silicon Power Superior MicroSDXC UHS-1 We've selected four cards from a few different companies, all of which excellent value for money and come with favourable customer reviews. Our US recommendations are slightly different, as there are more brands represented on than on its sister sites. 1TB cards are also getting much cheaper than before, meaning you don't pay much more per gigabyte to get a massive amount of game storage on your Switch.ĥ12GB Integral Ultima Pro MicroSDXC UHS-1īest Value Bulk Storage Switch Micro SD CardĢ56GB Integral Ultima Pro MicroSDXC UHS-1 Best Switch Micro SD cards UKįor UK buyers, there's been something of a shift as 512GB cards now offer the best value per gigabyte by some margin, with 128GB and 256GB options behind. Anyways, enough chat - here's our top picks for the best Micro SD cards for Nintendo Switch! Whether you intend to stick to physical cartridges or digital purchases, Switch's need for mandatory downloads in some scenarios means that a Micro SD card of some description is an essential purchase. In crunching the numbers, it reveals that the Micro SD cards we've chosen over slightly speedier load times compared to the internal storage, which is worth remembering if you're intending on either buying a game digitally or getting it as a physical cartridge. It's worth noting that higher capacity cards, such as those that are 512GB, are becoming increasingly affordable, which means you'll be able to get more storage for a lot less.Īs well as simply recommending cards for you to try, we'll also share the results of our load time tests for different games, and also the best ways to move your data over from the internal storage to the SD card, and from the card to the internal storage, too. Regardless of how much storage capacity you need though, we've got a good selection of cards that should be sure to suit what you need. These can range from cheaper cards that provide the best price to performance ratio to some absolute behemoths that offer upwards of a terabyte of storage. It's at this point where we've decided to step in and help, recommending our picks of the bunch when it comes to a multitude of different Micro SD cards you can choose. DITRA can be used as a waterproofing membrane for vapor and moisture management, and to support / distribute heavy loads. For this project, the DITRA is being installed over radiant-heating element embedded in self-leveling mortar.ĭITRA is a versatile product and can do more than just provide an uncoupling membrane. DITRA is composed of a polyethylene (plastic) grid of square cavities, each with angled, dovetail cut-backs, and an anchoring mesh laminated to the backside. Schluter DITRA underlayment is an uncoupling membrane that allows the tile floor to move (in-plane) relative to the substrate, eliminating the major causes for cracked and delaminated tile. The tile assembly needs to be able to handle that which is why it’s important to incorporate an uncoupling membrane that allows for in-plane movement. For example, wood expands and contracts with seasonal changes. Stresses between the concrete or wood subfloor can still cause tiles to crack and delaminate and for grout joints to crumble. Even a perfectly level subfloor won’t guarantee a beautiful, long-lasting tile floor. 9/10/2023 0 Comments An epic poem would beWaldman subverts the heroic nature of the epic, instead examining an anti-hero and how his actions affect the humanity around him. Tempest, a celebrated spoken word poet, embraces both the written and oratory tradition of epic poetry. Tempest centers seemingly ordinary people, including herself and her readers, as heroes and villains, often intertwining the two archetypes. “The Gods are all here / because the Gods are in us,” Tempest asserts in her 2013 epic, which won the Ted Hughes Award for innovation in poetry. While the original myth focuses on Hercules, Carson chooses to shed light on Geryon, formerly portrayed only as a monster.
